The number of treatments required depends on which part of the body we are working on and which growth phase the hair is in. Hair grows in three phases: anagen, catagen, and telogen. Hair can only be effectively removed when it is in the anagen phase, and hair is not all in the same phase at the same time. On some parts of the body (for example, bikini, underarms, face), there are more hairs in the anagen phase at any given time, while on the legs and back, there are fewer in the anagen phases at any given time. What that means for you is that 4-8 sessions, spaced 6-8 weeks, would be typical for bikini, underarms, and face, while legs and back are generally booked at 8-10 weeks apart.

Consultation is required before booking. You must arrive to the consultation with a minimum of 5 days of hair growth and be free from waxing or sun exposure in the area to be treated for four weeks prior to your consultation. It's important that no retinols or hydroquinone have been applied for five days before your appointment if you are having a facial area treated. We also require that no antibiotics or sun sensitizing medications be used 72 hours before your appointment. Please shave 24 hours before your first treatment and come with clean skin.
