Tracked shipping. All orders are dispatched from our office in Victoria, British Columbia. You will receive an email confirmation from us when you place your order. Once orders have been dispatched, they cannot be redirected.

While Nivali Skin & Laser Clinic will do everything we can to assist, we cannot be made liable and will not refund or resend orders.

RETURN POLICY FOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICE PACKAGES

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We accept returns within 14 days of receiving your product as long as it is not opened or damaged. If you are concerned about skin sensitivities, we are happy to send samples with your order so you can try it before you open your product.

Refunds on service packages must be within 3 months of purchase, and will be prorated to regular priced services.

CLINIC POLICIES

At Nivali Skin & Laser Clinic, we pride ourselves on offering the best in customer care. Please make yourself aware of our policies, which have been designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all guests.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

A credit card, gift card or prepayment is required at the time of booking to hold your appointment. Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation that is made within 24 hours of appointment will be charged 50% and non-arrivals charged 100% of regular treatment price. Cancellation under 24 hours and non-arrivals for skin consultations will be charged $75, and 15-minute consultations charged $50.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be redeemed for either the original treatment/s nominated, or the purchase value can be used towards other services or products. Please quote Certificate number at the time of booking and present on arrival. Our 24 hour cancellation policy applies and the cost of the treatment(s) booked will be deducted from the card balance. Gift cards are non-transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Certificate cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you are late for an appointment, we may need to shorten or cancel your appointment and the full treatment fee may still apply. Please allow for traffic and parking.

Clinic Etiquette

While in our establishment, we ask that you kindly respect our staff, facilities, policies and the enjoyment of other guests. We operate a very positive, professional and loving environment.

Staff

At Nivali Skin & Laser Clinic, our therapists are certified in their respective services. You will always be supervised by our founder and lead medical esthetician Charmaine Shipley.

Age Requirement

Clients under the age of 18 must have parental consent.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Due to increased sensitivity and various hormonal changes during pregnancy, there are some treatment contraindications and special precautions for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Due to manufacturers instruction, peels, laser and microneedling treatments are contraindicated during pregnancy. We recommend consulting with your physician before booking any treatment.

Health

Prior to any treatment, please use our consultation forms to disclose to Nivali Skin your medical history, including any medical conditions, pre-existing injuries or disability, infectious diseases, skin conditions, allergies, and pregnancy. If your health conditions have changed since first completing the forms, please advise us as soon as possible and prior to your next treatment to allow us to make the necessary adjustments. If at any time during treatment you experience discomfort, please alert your technician immediately.

While all care is taken, Nivali Skin cannot guarantee any of our treatments are completely free from traces of allergens or appropriate for any medical condition. Please seek prior advice from your doctor or healthcare professional. Patients being treated for chronic medical conditions or cancer should provide written clearance from their doctor.
