About Skin Classic Treatments for Skin Irregularities
Skin Classic is a safe, affordable alternative to laser that uses high-frequency technology to treat minor skin irregularities. These treatments are quick and work by dehydrating the top layer of the skin only in the area being treated. This method of treating small areas ensures no damage to the surrounding area of skin and effectively localizes the treatment.
What Can I Treat with Skin Classic?
Skin Classic will treat a wide variety of small skin conditions. Most commonly, this “spot treatment” is used to correct the following:
Telangiectasis (broken capillaries)
Cherry angioma
Fibromas
Skin tags
Milia/sebaceous hyperplasia
Sun spots/age spots
Xanthelasma
Please note: we do not recommend the Skin Classic treatment for conditions on the lower extremities (such as broken capillaries on the legs). More effective/stronger treatments, such as laser therapies, are suggested for these areas. Be sure to read the pre and post-care prior to the consultation and/or treatment.
A Consultation for Skintags, Cherry Angioma, etc., is recommended before treatment to determine which technology is best suited for you however, you can also email or text us a photo which can be sufficient to determine.
Skin Classic uses radiofrequency (Electrodessication); therefore, if you have any form of heart condition or are pregnant, this treatment is not recommended.
Starting at $100
How Does Treatment Work?
After the treatment, a scab-like crust forms, which falls off on its own in 3-7 days. The treated area may look pinkish or brownish for up to 6-8 weeks. If you are concerned about coverage during this time, we recommend using mineral makeup as a cover-up while your condition continues to heal. When the new skin has completed its healing cycle, it will match the surrounding skin.
Will Treatment Hurt?
There is typically little to no sensation/pain during this treatment; however, some people who are extremely sensitive may find that there is some mild discomfort. We are happy to provide a topical anesthetic for any clients who are worried about sensation during the treatment process. Please contact us for more information.
