Hydrafacial MD uses six basic steps to help rejuvenate, moisturize, improve and protect your skin for up to four weeks after the treatment.
Exfoliation: The first step is to remove dead skin cells and impurities and pores to reveal a healthy, naturally glowing skin.
Peeling: The Hydrafacial MD system then delivers an exclusive serum called Glysal™, which provides all the benefits of a peel, but without the post-peeling redness and scaling.
Extraction: This step clears out pores using a gentle, painless suction and Beta-HD™ serum.
Boost: A specific serum is delivered that depends on skin condition, whether it’s oily skin, brown spots, fine lines, or hyperpigmentation.
Fusion: A series of exclusive serums chock-full of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid is applied for healthy, glowing skin.
Daily skin care: Maintain the results of your Hydrafacial MD with our suggested daily home-care regimen, personalized to your skin type and condition.
Pre- and Post-Care

Discontinue use of Topical Vitamin A Creams (Retinoic Acid) and Hydroquinone products, topical acne meds, glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids 10% or higher 5 days prior to treatment.
Avoid harsh Vitamin A oral acne prescriptions (brand names not allowed here) for six months prior to treatment.
Avoid sun exposure before treatment. Sunburned skin cannot be treated.
Avoid IPL, Laser, microdermabrasion 14 days prior to treatment.
Avoid Facial Neuromodulator Injections and Fillers 14 days prior to and 7 days post-treatment.
If you have a history of perioral herpes, advise the office so you may begin prophylactic antiviral therapy the day before treatment.
Do not bleach, wax, thread, tweeze, or use depilatory creams in the treatment area 5 days prior to treatment.

Redness might be present (and last up to several hours).
Slight peeling can occur 3-5 days after treatment, depending on the condition of the skin along with the peel that is used.
