EltaMD® UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 sunscreen is a lightweight, silky formula that spreads easily and dries quickly for ultimate comfort. This oil-free, noncomedogenic (won’t clog pores!), mineral blend is exceptionally suitable for acne-prone skin and those dealing with hyperpigmentation and/or rosacea.

Can be worn with makeup or alone, and is also available in an untinted formula.

Featured ingredients:

• Niacinamide (vitamin B3) - Niacinamide’s management of acne in several studies suggests it to be highly effective. In one study, as many as 82% of people with inflammatory acne showed improvement after using niacinamide as a topical treatment for eight weeks. Additionally, 60% had significant reductions in papules/pustules and 52% had a reduction in the severity of their acne.

• Zinc oxide - mineral protection against UVA/UVB rays

• Hyaluronic acid - a humectant (a substance that allows the skin to hold onto more water) that allows for superior skin hydration

• Vitamin E - helps to smooth and nourish rough, dry skin, while reducing moisture loss

Directions for use:

Apply liberally to the face and neck. Be sure to apply at least 15 minutes before exposure to the sun, and re-apply consistently every 2 hours. This sunscreen is not water-resistant, so be sure to also re-apply if you’ve been swimming or sweating.
